AUGUSTA, Ga--Two people are recovering after deputies say a man intentionally rammed their truck.
According to deputies, that man is 36-year-old Thomas Jackson Taylor Jr.
He is in the Richmond County jail charged with two counts of aggravated assault and criminal damage to property in the 1st degree.
It happened around 4:30pm Saturday on Travis Road near Mack Lane in Augusta. The man and woman were thrown from the car.
Deputies say Taylor and the other driver were arguing over a woman. That's when they say he intentionally crashed into their truck.
The crash took out a telephone pole. The woman was airlifted to the hospital. Witnesses have identified the woman as Jessica Hill. They say she is a 2005 graduate of Cross Creek High School. The hospital tells us she is in fair condition.
