MCCORMICK COUNTY, S.C.--The McCormick County Coroner says 51-year-old Robbin Dale Dorn was attending Thunder over Thurmond when he accidentally drowned.
Dorn was from Plum Branch in McCormick County, S.C.
A member of the Savannah Valley Dive Team confirms that Dorn was pulled out of the water by his friends, but went back into the water where he drowned.
This happened Saturday afternoon. According to his mother, Dorn did not know how to swim.
We're told his body was recovered near a boat. Officials do say the man had been drinking.
He was pronounced dead on the scene around 4:07pm.
