AUGUSTA, Ga.--The 12 burn victim from the Imperial Sugar Refinery explosion near Savannah, died Tuesday night, according to the spokeswoman for the hospital, Beth Frits.
He passed away at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital.
He is the the fourth burn patient to die in Augusta from the deadly explosion.
Frits says the patient's name is not being released at this time.
Eleven burn patients are in critical condition as of Tuesday night and one is in serious condition.
Jerry Woods of the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundations says there is still a great need for food and volunteers for the burn victims families. Woods says the initial response was generous from churches and organizations but it is dropping off.
