ATV's that can catch on fire and cribs that can trap your baby are the latest products being recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Here are the details on them:
Around 95,000 Polaris All-Terrain Vehicles are being recalled because a device on them can overheat, cause a fire and create a pretty big injury risk to the driver. This involves a number of the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Polaris Sportsman and Scrambler 500 ATV'S.
Because there are so many model numbers involved, you should contact your local Polaris dealer to check and see if your ATV is involved. That's also where you can schedule a free repair.
Until then, disconnect the black battery cable when the ATV is not in use.
A number of Bassettbaby Drop-Side Cribs are also being called back.
The spindles on the drop-side of the crib could get lose and that could crate a gap that could trap or strangle your child. These are Wendy Bellissimo Hidden Hills Collection with the model number 5446-0504.
They were sold at Babies "R" Us stores in November 2007 through January 2008.
You should stop using the crib and contact Bassettbaby for a replacement or a refund. You can do that by calling 1-800-308-7485.
