ATLANTA, Ga.---A great license tag war has apparently broken out between Florida and Georgia.
At least two Georgia lawmakers, including State. Rep. Barry Fleming of Harlem, say it's nearly impossible to get a University of Georgia alumni tag issued in Florida.
However, the state of Georgia has just approved an application from the University of Florida to sell Gator-alumni tags in Georgia.
They're waiting for 1000 alumni to put down $25 apiece to get the plates printed.
Fleming and State Senator Eric Johnson have now introduced a bill in Atlanta to order the state to issue alumni tags for out-of-state schools only if the other state returned the favor.
