DISCOLORED WATER WARNING

A heads up to those of you who live on Barton Chapel Road between Gordon Highway and Wrightsboro Road -- and possibly side streets:
your water may be temporarily discolored between 9 this morning and 3 o'clock today.Crews are flushing the water main there.

FIRE VICTIM UPDATE

This morning, 3 of the burn victims from the Sugar Refinery Explosion, who were recovering in Augusta, are back home after doctors released them on Sunday. 17 more though are still at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in critical conditions. All are still in medical-induced comas, with at least 30 percent of their bodies burned.

BLOOD DRIVE INFORMATION

You can help those patients and their families by calling the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation at 706-650-2876. Volunteers say donating money is the best way to help, but food and gas cars would be greatly appreciated. And, you can donate blood. The need will be there. BRUSH FIRES IN AUGUSTA

Lots of land destroyed this morning after 3 brush fires on Sunday Afternoon. The worst one, on Clark Road. That fire burned one home and firefighters spent more than 3 hours putting that fire out. Crews even called in for Forestry Officials for help.

Another brush fired on Sunday afternoon of Glenn Hills Drive. It took officials more than 2 hours to get the flames under control. The fire is out this morning.

TRIPLE MURDER UPDATE
An Augusta man is behind bars this morning, facing charges for the brutal stabbing of an Augusta family Saturday morning. 30-year-old Adrian Hargrove is facing three counts of murder. Another woman was arrested yesterday for lying to police.
