Final Leaphart murder suspect arrested

AIKEN, S.C.---The Aiken County Sheriff's Office announced today that the eighth and final subject in the December 2007 murder of Jeremy Leaphart had been arrested.

28-year-old Johnnie Walker surrendered Friday night. He is charged with Accessory After the Fact - Murder.

Some suspects now face additional or enhanced charges.

20-year-old Sheldon Oakman is now charged with Murder.

18-year-old Ronnie Bowers, Jr., previously charged with Accessory After the Fact - Murder, is now also charged with Kidnapping.

17-year-old Frankie Gantt, previously charged with Kidnapping and Murder is now also charged with Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.

The remaining suspects are charged as follows:

16-year-old John Oakman is charged with Kidnapping and Murder.

19-year-old Marion Abner, Jr. is charged with Kidnapping and Murder.

26-year-old Andre Norris is charged with Kidnapping and Murder.

24-year-old Darrell Williams is charged with Accessory After the Fact - Murder.
