The undercover operation known as "Augusta Ink" has resulted in five more guilty pleas in Federal District Court in Augusta.
That means 26 guilty pleas have now been entered by defendants to various federal firearms or drug offenses.
The Richmond County Sheriff's Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) conducted the undercover operation centered at a Tobacco Rd. tattoo parlor.
All those who have pleaded guilty will be sentenced later after pre-sentencing reports are prepared.
35 more defendants are awaiting Federal Court trials, while one defendant is still at large.
Those who pleaded guilty this week: Balaam "Bizo" Grinnage, George Edwards Jr., Amtron McCladdie, Marquell Washington and Jerell Wilson.
