NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. --- The campaigning just keeps on going. Democratic candidates making several stops around the palmetto state. Sharing their message, and hoping to reach out to voters. Voters like Elizabeth Stockdale think Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are both qualified candidates.

"Of course Obama has interest to me because he's about change and I like change. And Hillary on the other hand is interesting too because she has a little more information as far as what goes on in the White House," Elizabeth Stockdale said.

"I've listened to Hillary and I've also listened to Obama and I'm in favor of Obama at this time," Calvin Warren said.

And every election sees a little mudslinging. But this week, it's been brutal between Clinton and Obama.

"Everybody says they hate to see it happen and it is kind of demeaning in a way but I think that's just typical of American politics," David Amerman said.

While some voters don't like it, others don't mind it.

"Usually when there's a little dispute between anybody it is usually a good thing because that means people are really interested and so of course everybody wants to be heard," Stockdale said.

Stockdale said the more people pay attention, the more they can make a decision on who or who not to vote for.

"I think between Hillary and Obama, yeah, I think that's gonna be the tight match there so I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens," Stockdale said.

We got a break down of votes cast at the North Augusta Community Center, and it looks like our area kept in line with the rest of the state. Out of 142 ballots cast, 65 went to Obama, 49 to Clinton and 26 to Edwards.
