THOMSON, Ga.---A Hephzibah woman is in jail, accused of killing another woman whose remains were found outside Thomson in November 2006.
Antonia "Toni" Lowe, 33, was charged in the death of Lula Bell Scott, 48.
Ms. Scott lived on Rent Way Drive in Hephzibah.
She was reported missing by her daughter in September 2006. About two months later, three hunters found the decomposing remains just outside Thomson, off Story-Randall Rd.
She was identified later that year. GBI agents and McDuffie County authorities have been working on the case since that time.
