1102 liquor license to go before public service committee

AUGUSTA, Ga.---A fight outside the 1102 Bar and Grill early New Year's morning landed one man in the hospital. Soon the business will learn its fate.

33-year-old co-owner Mike Guthrie is charged with felony aggravated battery for attacking 31-year-old Billy Carlisle.

News 12 has learned the 1102 Bar and Grill liquor license will go before the Augusta Public Service Committee next week.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is recommending the license be suspended or revoked.
