MATTHEWS, GA -- A Matthews, GA man was having trouble with a well-known computer company. So he put in a Call for Action.

David Houston depends on his computer to help pass the time and to keep up with the world. But it wasn't too long ago, that his old one needed replacing.

"I needed a new computer. Mine had done bit the dust," he said.

So, he ordered one from Dell, complete with a financing plan that fit his lifestyle.

"I agreed to an 18 month no-interest plan and anything after 18 months would be subject to interest," Houston explained.

He says he paid it off in time and thought that it was. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't. "They sent me a bill for $682 in interest," he said.

That's 33 percent interest on a plan David says he thought didn't include any interest if he paid it off on time.

He couldn't get anywhere on his own, so he put in a call to Call For Action and Volunteer John Wright. In what seemed like no time at all, John had cut through the red tape and he called David back with some good news.

"They were gonna’ credit my account," David said.

David did end up having to pay $200 dollars, but he says without Call For Action he would have had to pay a whole lot more. "I was very satisfied. I'm just glad people like ya'll are around," he said.
