BEECH ISLAND, SC-- 9 Huckabee Street in Bath; It is an address you may remember from earlier this week.

Just after midnight on Monday, January 14th, the house caught fire and an elderly woman inside was able to escape unharmed.

Sunday afternoon, while the resident's son was doing work on the house, fire broke out a second time.

The first fire caused severe damage to the home, but witnesses say the flames were spreading quickly this time as well.

Fire investigators on the scene have not determined a cause yet.

The son of the homeowner tells News 12 it was an accident that occurred while he was burning debris from the previous fire.
