Two accidents, one in Aiken County and the other in Augusta, delayed traffic Wednesday morning.

First, traffic was backed up for miles near mile marker 5 on I-20 westbound. Aiken County deputies and South Carolina state troopers say an accident with injuries is to blame. They say Judy Frynn of Edgefield was getting onto the interstate, tried to merge, and hit an
Explorer driven by Patrrick Kelley of Martinez. Both drivers went to
MCG for treatment. Ms. Frynn is charged with failing to yield. Mr. Kelley was last reported in fair condition.

The other accident happened at the intersection of Windsor Spring and Rosier on Augusta's south side.

Three cars and an 84 Lumber delivery truck were involved.

There were no injuries, even though one car ended up on top of another.
