67th Signal Battalion comes home

After spending more than a year away from friends and family, today couldn't have come soon enough for some local soldiers.

The 67th Signal Battalion came home today.

The unit left Fort Gordon for Iraq in October 2006.

They had no casualties in their 15 months overseas.

The ceremony took place at 9:00 am at Gym 5 on Fort Gordon.

    So glad you all made it home safely...It was the greatest pleasure serving with each of you for the past 15 months. Although we're still here "WELCOME HOME!" from the entire MNF-I CIS staff.
