Some top news headlines on Friday morning, January 11.

News 12 is getting reports of a lightning strike in Aiken County
that has killed one woman and injured another. Aiken County
coroner Tim Carlton confirms that to News 12. We're expecting
more details from him later in the morning.

The Humane Scoiety is now offering a reward of up to $5000 for
information leading to arrests and convictions on dogfighting in Georgia.

The Golden Harvest Food Bank is collecting donations at Friday night's
Lynx-Florida Everblades game. It's all part of the "Put Hunger on
Ice" program. They're looking for canned goods and other non-perishable food, plus money donations. There's also a post game
concert featuring the rock-worship band "Ice". Game time is
7:35 pm at James Brown Arena.
