Westbound lanes on I-20 are open again.
They were shut down at the Washington Road exit earlier this morning during rush-hour traffic because of a bad accident. It involved an 18-wheeler and three other vehicles.
Dispatch confirms some injuries, but we don't know how severe they are.
Viewers were calling our newsroom all morning, reporting stand-still traffic on the interstate. One caller says he sat still for half an hour.
The area has been cleared, and we're told traffic is moving smoothly again.
