Prostitution arrests at cemetery

AUGUSTA, Ga.---The Richmond County Sheriff's Office tells News 12 a man and a woman have been arrested on prostitution charges. It happened around 3:15 this afternoon.

Deputies doing surveillance at South Gate Shopping Center on Gordon Highway say they saw Johnny Penwell solicit Christina Neal. The deputies followed Penwell's car to Magnolia Cemetery near 3rd Street and Walton Way. They approached the car once it was parked and found that Penwell had already removed his pants.

Penwell stated that the reason they were at his family's plot in the cemetery was because he felt safe there.

Both were taken into custody.

    they should put this girl in rehab and get her off drugs and maybe she wouldn't be selling herself on the corner.

    they should also be charged for improperly using the cemetary for a sinful nature.that should be trespassing or something!!!!
