Augusta, GA---The feasibility study that would look at bringing the Greenjackets downtown has been signed. The cost---about 50 thousand dollars. All that money was raised through private donations. The study is set to begin the first week in January. We should have results by February. The city is looking to build the new ballpark next to Golf and Gardens along the Savannah River. The study will determine if that location will prove to be a homerun...for the team- and the city.
