Woman killed by tanker on I-20

AIKEN, SC-- A woman from Eastover, SC is Aiken County's 45th traffic death so far this year.

Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton says Debra Minder was killed early Saturday along interstate 20 in eastern Aiken County.

The coroner says Minder was traveling to see her daughter in North Augusta when her car broke down. She and her fiance tried to push it off the road when she was struck by a tanker truck and killed.

The man, and Minder's son, who was asleep in the car, were not hurt.
