Crews are breaking ground today on the largest expansion project yet at Doctors Hospital. Workers will begin a $55 million project that has been in the works for the past seven years.
The expansion will include 24 new private medical rooms, 24 intensive care unit rooms, a larger main lobby, new education space, renovated surgical areas, and renovations to the burn center.
It should take crews about 20 months to finish.
