Hephzibah, Ga. --- It happened at Meme's Pizza. Richmond County investigators said this wasn't the typical robbery, where they just go after the cash register. They robbed everyone inside.

It happened around 12:30 Sunday morning. A shooting at Meme's Pizza on Tobacco Road. Investigators said three black males, all wearing masks and armed with hand guns, entered the restaurant and demanded all the money from the register and safe. There were four people inside Meme's at the time of the robbery.

"They asked one other customer for his wallet. That customer showed the suspect his wallet. They didn't have any money and the suspect moved on," Sgt. Ken Rogers said.

Moved on to an employee that was just sitting in the front of the restaurant. One or two or the robbers went behind the counter to take money, while the third man kept robbing the customers .

"He kept telling the suspect he didn't have any money, didn't have a wallet. the suspect made some profane language toward him and then fired one shot," Sgt. Rogers said.

That shot hit him in the stomach. We spoke with one of the employees at Meme's Pizza and they said they see neighborhood guys walking through the fence next to the parking lot on a regular basis. Investigators said its a good possibility that the men used that hole in the fence for an escape route.

"It's pretty obvious that they knew exactly what they were looking for when they got there," Sgt. Rogers said.

Investigators said the three men are still on the loose and want the public to come forward with any information.

"I'm sure they're going to brag about it or tell somebody about doing it," Sgt. Rogers said.
