Armed robbery in Aiken
Security Federal Bank on Laurens Street was robbed Tuesday afternoon by a man with a handgun.

AIKEN, S.C.---There was an armed robbery around 3 o'clock this afternoon at Security Federal Bank on Laurens Street.
Aiken Public Safety says a white male in his late 30s to early 40s came into the bank with a handgun and demanded money from the teller. The man was wearing a blue fleece-type pullover, blue jeans and a navy blue hat. He's described as clean shaven with dark colored hair, around 6' 2" tall, 220 pounds, and he apparently walks with a limp.
