NORTH AUGUSTA -- Your newest resource for getting answers to your consumer problems is making a big impact here in the Augusta area. Call For Action has now recovered more than more than $30,000 for our viewers.
The office has only been open for a little more than two months and the volunteers that work in it have recovered $33,000.
The volunteers have been tirelessly taking your calls trying to help solve your problems. And so far, it's been a huge success.
More than 130 people have been helped so far with many more to come. Anything from landlord problems to housing issues, if you've got it the volunteers can help. And people seem to like the service.
"Very appreciative. They are glad the service is here and they think we're doing a bang up job," Volunteer Henry Wadsworth said.
So, with that $33,000, that means 12 On Your Side and Call For Action have recovered more than $275,000 for our viewers.
