AUGUSTA, Ga.---Alvin Mason is locked in a run-off with incumbent Bernard Harper in District 4.

The two met last year but Harper was able to pull out a win with less than 100 votes. This year the story is a bit different. Mason has a slight lead but not enough to declare him the winner.

News 12 caught up with Alvin Mason. "I'm prepared for the run-off, but it seems a little weird that I won by 139 votes, and I have to do it again and last year I lost by 92 votes and I was sitting on the sidelines. We're glad for the opportunity. We just want the folks to come back out and support the best candidate in the race."
