November 2, 2007

AUGUSTA, Ga.---Change is on the way for folks commuting on River Watch Parkway and I-20.

Traffic will be shifted to the two outside lanes on River Watch under I-20 headed towards downtown on Monday morning (November 5). The closing will last until the new I-20 overpass is finished.

On Tuesday morning (November 6), traffic will be shifted over 12 feet on both sides of I-20 between Warren Road and the Augusta Canal. Traffic will be paced until 6 o'clock Wednesday morning, and the shift will be in place until the next phase of the I-20 widening project.

Traffic shifts on River Watch and I-20 Appears to me a large map in the Chronicle and/or on the internet would be nice for those thousands of vehicles using that intersection daily. A blown up version so that individuals can be ready to exit/enter at appropriate locations.
