AUGUSTA, Ga. - Another confirmed case of MRSA in Richmond County Schools. This time at Hephzibah Elementary School. It brings the total number of confirmed cases to four.

Dr. Dana Bedden held a news conference Thursday at 2:30 pm in the Board of Education Building to address MRSA concerns.

A panel of health professionals joined him. Bedden said special cleaning solutions have been purchased and will be used to sanitize known MRSA contaminated areas.

Bedden says he's willing to do anything to protect Richmond County students, including spending more money. "That's something I could sit in the chair with the Board and say that I blew up the budget to take care of people's health and well-being. I don't think they'd question that at all."
