HEPHZIBAH -- A Hephzibah family paid big bucks to have a fence built only to find they didn't get what they paid for. So, they called 12 On Your Side for help.

All the Harris family wanted was a wood privacy fence around their backyard.
The fence is fine, but the gate is far from fine.

For the past seven months, Terice Harris and her husband have been frustrated with their fence. "The latch is all broke off," Terice said.

Back in March, the Harris' hired a company to get it built.

"C.S.R.A. Fence was recommended by one of my co-workers," Terice said. "Called him, got a price and had him come out."

The crew was done in only two days, but then Terice started noticing problems. "[The] first day I noticed they had a cut at the bottom. I told him I didn't like it and he said if I buy a dog, put a rock down."

But that was just the beginning. Soon, the latch broke and then she noticed some nails poking through the wood.

"I got grand-boys that push on the gate and the nails can stick 'em in their hands," Terice said.

She essentially had paid a ton of money for a fence that wasn't secure at all.
So she put in some calls to C.S.R.A. Fence Company only to get frustrated even more.

"I was told we don't do this anymore," she said.

So she called 12 On Your Side for help. We put in a call to C.S.R.A. Fence Company and we were told the company would make good and come back to fix the gate sometime in the next couple of days.

"Come and fix the gate, that's all I ask," Terice pleaded.

And, we'll watch to make sure the fence is repaired.

To be honest, Terice did all the right things with this situation. She found a company that someone recommended. She pointed out the problems to the workers and then made call after call to get them to come fix them.

Luckily, in the end, she's getting it fixed.
