Pumpkin Parade held at Hephzibah Elementary

October 30, 2007

HEPHZIBAH, Ga.---Students at Hephzibah Elementary got to show off their artwork today in a parade.

Students designed pumpkins as characters from Sponge Bob, Dora the Explorer, and Cinderella, and showed them off in wagons.

Each pumpkin represented a storybook that the classes read.

"The kids help with decorations and so we try and make it and art activity for the kids and they enjoy it," said third-grade teacher Ms. Cogle.

On top of the fun, kids won prizes for the best pumpkins.
