Reminder: Photo ID required to vote in Georgia

October 11, 2007

Georgia's secretary of state is reminding voters that you'll have to show a photo ID to vote November 6. The secretary is sending out letters to thousands of people who may not have a drivers license or state ID card.

If you don't have a photo ID, contact your county voting office or a drivers license center for a free card.

You do not have to have a photo ID to vote absentee.
