Hot Spot Robbery
beryAn early morning robbery just outside of New Ellenton has investigators busy this morning.
It happened around 1:30 this morning at the Hot Spot convenience store on Main street.
The suspect had a gun.
Right now, the only description we have is that the suspect is a black male who was wearing all black at the time.

Circle K Robbery
Investigators in Augusta are looking for the person who robbed the Circle K on Wrightsboro Road and Highland Avenue around 10 sunday night.
Investigators say it was a robbery by "intimidation."
No word on any specific suspects.

Home Break-in
Investigators are looking for the two people who broke into a South Augusta home and tied a woman to a chair.
It happened around 9:00 Sunday night.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and deputies haven't named any suspects yet.

Aiken County Robbery
An Aiken County store clerk says he is lucky to be alive after being robbed at gunpoint.
It happened on Pine Log Road in Warrenville Sunday at Robby's Convenience Store.
The clerk says it's the 2nd time he has been robbed while working at the store.

Aiken Co. Narcotics Division
Aiken County's Narcotics Division should be up and running again today after the sheriff fired the whole unit last week.
All four are accused of taking an unmarked county owned car to two bars, drinking alcohol, and then taking two women to a hotel.
Friday morning, the sheriff assigned a leutinent to the division, and we're told three other investigators should be on the job today.

Aiken County Traffic Deaths Up to 34
This morning, the number of traffic fatalities in Aiken County has reached 34, after a couple of accidents over the weekend.
The first accident happened Saturday afternoon in Windsor.
26 year old Antonio Hernandez died in the accident.
His passenger is in critical condition.
Neither of the men were wearing seatbelts.
The other accident claimed the life of a teenager Sunday.
16 year-old Megan Johnson died when a flipped on Wire Road near Coleman Bridge road.
The driver, 19 year-old Michael Richardson, has injuries that do not appear to be life threatening.

Voter Registration Reminder
12 is on your side this morning with a friendly reminder to get out there and register to vote.
Tomorrow's your last day to get it done.
Registering will make you elligible to cast your vote in the municipal general election and special elections in November.

Dr. Bedden Meet and Greet
You've got another chance to shake hands with the man running your child's school.
There's another meet and greet tonight with Richmond County's superintendent, Doctor Dana Bedden.
It's going on tonight from 6:00 to 7:30 at Graig Houghton Elementary School.
