North Augusta Public Safety in pursuit of stolen car suspect
North Augusta Public Safety tells us they are currently looking for a suspect who ran after flipping a vehicle, during a chase.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2010

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. --- North Augusta Public Safety tells us they are currently looking for a suspect who ran after flipping a vehicle, during a chase.

Dispatch does not know the charges as to why the chase began.

We're told it happened around 11:15 p.m.

Officers caught up to the suspect at Lake and Buena Vista Avenue. We're told the suspect flipped the car and then ran.

Dispatch tell us a gun was found on the ground by the car and the car is confirmed stolen.

Officers have set up a perimeter and are searching the area for the suspect at this time.
