ROME, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities have charged three in connection with the kidnapping of a 17-year-old girl who showed up at Polk Medical Center last week.
Authorities are not identifying the suspects because the case involves juveniles.
According to Polk County Police Department reports, the girl's mother and grandmother reported the incident Thursday.
Authorities released few details of the girl's ordeal, beyond saying she suffered superficial injuries in an assault after being taken from her home against her will.
Charges include conspiracy to commit a crime, robbery, aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act, simple battery, reckless conduct and party to a crime.
