AUGUSTA, Ga.---Four men were arrested after a robbery conspiracy was exposed.

Two Richmond County Narcotics Investigators were patrolling West Augusta when they observed a blue Toyota in the parking lot of the Bank of America on Washington Road and Center West Parkway.

Investigators say four men were inside the Toyota and they appeared to be watching the comings and goings at the bank, but they did not go inside the bank themselves. They watched the vehicle for about 20-25 minutes at which point the vehicle left.

Since that Bank of America location had been robbed before, investigators say they stopped the vehicle to identify the people inside. During the stop, they say they found a firearm, ski masks and ammunition in the car.

Authorities say further investigation by the RCSO Special Investigations Section revealed that the four men had conspired to commit a robbery of any individual who might be using the ATM or making a business deposit at the bank.

24-year-old Rahiem Bradford, 19-year-old Kevin Alexander II, 21-year-old Kevin Cohick and 21-year-old Joseph Foote IV were arrested and charged with criminal attempt-armed robbery and possession of a firearm during commission of a crime.

Bradford was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
