Meloan hearing delayed
A hearing for Ed Meloan, the North Augusta man accused of sexually assaulting several children, has been delayed.

AIKEN, S.C.---A hearing for Ed Meloan, the North Augusta man accused of sexually assaulting several children, has been delayed.
Meloan was expected in Aiken tomorrow to face charges, but the judge has a schedule conflict.
The charges against Meloan come from pictures and video images going back 40 years.
Meloan was a North Augusta Planning Commission member and former host of Shock Theater on WRDW-TV years ago.
No word yet on a new hearing date.
