Biking firefighter halfway home

September 28, 2007

Augusta firefighter Laddie Williams is riding his bicycle across the country to raise money for the families of the nine firefighters who were killed in Charleston in June.

Laddie is riding 150 miles through the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas today. He and his support crew spent the night in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

They're over halfway home now, and hope to complete the ride in just over two weeks.
