AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- A search for people who have outstanding warrants in Beech Island and Clearwater resulted in 10 arrests and 30 citations, the Aiken County Sheriff's Office said.
Aiken County Deputies and Narcotics Investigators along with South Carolina Highway Patrol, State Law Enforcement Division and South Carolina Probation, Parole and Pardon Services conducted the neighborhood sweeps on Friday.
"Each participating agency possess' unique skills that are necessary for this type of enforcement and this is another example of law enforcement working together in the community," Sheriff Hunt said.
The arrests made were the results of drug violations, a probation violation do to a weapons violation, traffic violations, and outstanding warrants, the Sheriff's Office said.
