ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) -- A suspect has been arrested in a shooting death outside a nightclub in Orangeburg County.
Sheriff Leroy Ravenell told media outlets that 37-year-old Tellaferror Randolph was arrested Monday and charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Authorities say two men were sitting in the parking lot of Club Ambition after 2 a.m. on Sunday when another person pulled up and started shooting.
Ravenell says a 31-year-old man was shot three times but survived. Authorities say a 28-year-old Holly Hill man was shot in the back as he tried to run away but died.
The names of the men who were shot have not been released. Randolph was expected in court Tuesday, and it wasn't known if he had a lawyer.
