1 arrested, 1 wanted in Richmond Co. package store robbery

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- One suspect has been arrested and another is still wanted in a robbery at a package store earlier this month.

The robbery happened May 10 at the Windsor Package Shop at 4108 Windsor Spring Road.

Jamell Williams, 25, was arrested Friday morning on Beaver Drive in Augusta. Williams is charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and second-degree burglary.

Investigators are still searching for the second suspect, Colby Bryton Mitchell.

The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force assisted in the arrest.
