Here's a look at what local doctors have been seeing this week.

The flu season is hitting its peak, and the vaccine is protecting against most of the flu viruses.

It's no surprise several area doctors are seeing cases of the flu.

In Evans, Dr. Meenu Singhal at the Center for Primary Care says she's seeing patients with flu, bronchitis, and strep throat.

In Aiken County, Dr. Broder with North Augusta Urgent Care says he's been seeing a lot of patients with the flu virus. Symptoms include sneezing, fever, chills, and muscle aches.

He says most of these patients have not gotten a flu shot.
