AUGUSTA, Ga.---Ground was broken Wednesday morning for the MCGHealth Cancer Center. The $31 million building is planned for the corner of Laney Walker and R.A. Dent Boulevards. It will be a two-story, outpatient center, with 60,000 square feet of space.

It will include a family resource library with computers, brochures, books and other literature about cancer and related topics. Those will be available to patients and families.
