AUGUSTA,Ga---How many gifts can you buy with more than $2000? One Augusta family found out when Candye Smith showed up on a mission to Give it 4Ward.

"Oh my God," cried Margaret Mason after Candye Smith showed up with a truck load of toys.

Margaret is raising her 6 year old granddaughter.

"It's been rough my husband," cried Margaret about her husband who has since been hospitalized. "We were barely living off his Social Security and then I got a little job. It doesn't pay very much."

Candye stepped in with her Give it 4Ward organization.

"It's gonna mean that we're able to give Briana a Christmas," said Margaret. "We've had her, but it's never been like this. It's always been a couple of gifts nothing like this."

The family got $2,500 worth of toys and the latest fashions. The gifts were sponsored by a local company.

"I told one person at Augusta Sports Wear and it was like a domino effect," said Candye. "It was like 50 or 60 employees coming in each day saying we want to give to Brianna."

Margaret was left speechless.

"I had to choose you when I looked at Brianna and I knew she wasn't going to get anything for Christmas," said Candye. "I said I have to help."

It's seems Candye has started a small movement.

"This is one of our children's meal," noted Patsy Skinner. "We have chips."

Patsy has been opening her home once a week for the past year to those in need of clothing or food.

"I have been on the needy side myself," said Patsy. "It's time for me to give back."

Children leave Patsy's home with a bag of toys this holiday.

"They say is this really free, and I say yes it's free," said Patsy. "They have a smile on their face when they go back out that gate. I don't know how long it lasts."

"I think it's awesome," said Candye. "I want it to be a domino effect. Get out there and Give it 4Ward."

Candye's just getting started.

"2010 is going to be even greater," said Candye. "You never know where Give it 4Ward will show up next."

Brianna couldn't resist opening one present. She'll save the rest for Christmas. Patsy served 140 meals this week. She is up and running every Wednesday from 10AM to 1PM. She's located off Old Savannah Road.
