News 12 First Alert is a FREE, small, simple application which you can download and install on your Windows based personal computer (currently not available to Mac users), designed to provide you with the latest news and weather alerts without ever leaving your desk.
How does News 12's First Alert Work?
The News 12 First Alert control panel sits directly on your computer desktop. To Minimize the window, just click on the X in the upper right corner. The current temperature will be displayed in your Windows task bar.
During severe weather warnings or late breaking news, you will receive a text crawl directly on your computer. All you need is an Internet connection. No web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape, is required to receive the benefits of News 12 First Alert.
