Eating Well With Kim: Meat alternatives in the grocery store

Posted: 10/17/2014 - Canned beans are convenient and easy to prepare, but are usually packed with sodium and generally cost more than dried beans. Look for no salt added beans, and make sure to drain and rinse canned beans to reduce the amount of sodium they provide. Dried beans take longer to prepare, but they are less expensive and you can control the amount of sodium added to them.
