COLUMBIA CTY., Ga. -- Investigators in Columbia County have taken two men into custody for breaking into storage units.

James David Simmons and Chadwick Keifer Simmons were booked into the Columbia County Detention Center and charged with burglary.

Deputies were called to the 400 block of Columbia Industrial Boulevard on Jan. 22 for a report that numerous units had been opened. One victim told investigators the lock on his unit had marks that appeared to be from bolt cutters.

Investigators saw about 36 units had their locks cut and doors opened.
