Richmond County deputies are searching for the man who robbed the Queensborough Bank on Tobacco Road Wednesday.

AUGUSTA -- Richmond County investigators are searching for the man who robbed the Queensborough Bank on Tobacco Road just before noon Wednesday. The bank is located at 2550 Tobacco Road.
A man entered the bank and demanded money then fled across Tobacco towards Gilbralter Drive. Gilbralter Drive was blocked off as deputies searched the area.
The subject was described as a black male, about five feet seven inches tall, 140-150 pounds, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a blue and white baseball cap with a silver dollar sign ($) on the front of it.
