AIKEN CTY., S.C. -- The man investigators say is the suspect behind the murder of 18-year-old in Aiken has been caught.

Investigators have named 24-year-old Christopher Nathaniel Parker as the suspect who killed Huran Akil Dix.

Parker has been arrested on charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a crime in Pooler, Ga.

On Thursday afternoon, the U.S. Marshals Office, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and authorities with Pooler, Ga., took Parker into custody without incident.

Parker is currently being held at the Chatham County Jail until he can be extradited back to Aiken County.

Marrio Parker, 31, and Pebbles Nichole Moyle, 28, have been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

The Sheriff's Office says Parker murdered Dix over an alleged stolen income tax check.

Investigators say Parker is no stranger to law enforcement. Deputies say he's been involved in a kidnapping case, as well as several counts of possessing a weapon. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators say Dix was shot once in the back, then buried off of Dry Branch Road. His body was found on Sunday.
