AUGUSTA, Ga. and NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.---Two separate Bank of America sites on opposite sides of the Savannah River were robbed in the same afternoon, and investigators say the same man is responsible for both.

The robber is described as a white male, 5'7" to 5'10" tall, 150 to 180 pounds, in his mid 40s. In both robberies, a note demanding monies was used.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office, North Augusta Department of Public Safety, and FBI field agents from Aiken and Augusta are working together to locate the robber.

Anyone having information should notify either the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1080 or North Augusta Department of Public Safety at (803) 279-2121.
