Police say man in Crosland Park accidentally shot himself
Officers tell News 12 that they are planning on charging a shooting victim for giving false information.

AIKEN, S.C.---Officers tell News 12 that they are planning on charging a shooting victim for giving false information.
Investigators say that Stephon Carter accidentally shot himself on March 13 on Sommers Avenue in Crosland Park.
There was a party at the home when a fight broke out. Officers were looking for a shooting suspect at that time but later determined that Carter had shot himself.
Officers will charge Carter when he is released from the hospital.
