Barnwell Magistrate Office worker arrested for fraud
45-year-old Abbie Melissa Martin Nolind has been arrested for embezzling more than $5,000 from the Barnwell County Magistrate's Office.

BARNWELL, S.C.---45-year-old Abbie Melissa Martin Nolind has been arrested for embezzling more than $5,000 from the Barnwell County Magistrate's Office.
According to arrest warrants, Nolind converted court money for her own use by failing to post customer payments from handwritten receipts to the computer system.
The warrants state that Nolind did this to hide the payments from daily bank deposits. The crime was discovered after a financial audit of the office.
Nolind was an office manager at the Magistrate's Office.
